Some of these actually look kind of cool!

Came across this today while surfing my multitude of live bookmarks. It's a brief summary of 10 of the "most bizarre" programs for PDAs. Some of the program actually look very cool.

Distance is such a strange concept. It describes, simultaneously, the presence and absence of space. Often, when contemplating distance, I imagine an immense and barren landscape, stretching out before me with only the horizon to catch me before I am catapulting through sheer nothingness. How easy it is, at those times, to be intimidated by loneliness. Yet life is about distances, whether it's a journey from one place to another, mentally or physically, striving for balance and boundaries between work, life, and play, or seeking personal space, more of it, less of it... Life is the complex navigating of all distances so to remain whole.
